Fishing Country With Charlie Pack

Each year, the Tadpole Foundation provides a free day of
fishing for children ages 5 to 12. The Tadpole Fishing
Party is not a contest. There are no prizes, trophies or
awards; just fun and fishing.
All children should be accompanied by a responsible
adult, without exception (1 adult per 2 children). All fishing
equipment and bait is provided for children (only children
are allowed to fish). All fish are released live back into the
lake from which they were caught.
Free soft drinks, food and snacks are provided. All
participants are provided a free ride by bus from the
Church of the Open Door in Bellmead, Texas to nearby
private lakes.
The Tadpole Fishing Party is held each year, on several
small private lakes near Waco, Texas. The property is
owned by Dr. Don Risinger, who generously allows the
Tadpole Foundation the use of the lakes each year.
The motto of The Tadpole Foundation is "Off the Streets,
and On the Creeks." The Tadpole Foundation is a 501c3
foundation, and contributions are tax-deductible. In 1999,
over 4,000 children and adults attended the event. In 2000,
an extra lake was built by Dr. Risinger for a First Time Fish
Catch Lake. Thousands of fish were stocked in this lake,
for children who have never caught a fish.
Help Charlie and Dr. Risinger keep our kids "Off the
Streets and on the Creeks."
