Size Caught: Crappie mostly over 10", Bass & Catfish both undersize
Lures or Bait Used: Minnows and Jiggs with Niblets
Techniques Used: Rod & Reel, weight below hook on snell line.
Weather Conditions: Hot, very light or no wind, few wispy clouds.
Comments: Two anglers caught most of the crappie in or near brushpiles in
12 to 20 feet of water, some on or just off the bottom. All fish caught before

Weather Conditions: Great
Comments: My sister and I are wanting to catch some fish, but have not
been sucessful in finding a safe, inviting place. Have searched Lake Waco
but have not found a desirable place to bank fish. Can anybody direct us to
a safe place for catching crappie and bass?

Lures or Bait Used: Soft Plastic Jerk Baits, Lipped and Lipless Crank Baits
Techniques Used: Carolina Rigged and Texas Rigged on Jerk Baits
Weather Conditions: Clear Skies, Light Winds, Water Temp 73 and Murky
Comments: Three anglers caught smaller bass mostly in medium depth
waters early in day, later caught one 3-pounder, one 4-pounder, and one
5-pounder. Some smaller fish caught on second or third strike. See all the
