seen each year. Guests include Fishing Pros & Guides, local fishermen, celebrities, women and
children. Past guests have included Country Music Singer Bryan White, 2-time Olympic Gold
Medallist Michael Johnson, former Dallas Cowboy Mel Renfro, and Texas Governor & U.S.
President George W. Bush.
Instruction on fishing techniques and equipment is included, but the emphasis is on catching
fish, and having a good time. Charlie is known as the Crappie Guru, but he is also an
accomplished Pro Bass and Catfisherman. Fly Fishing and Bank Fishing are occasionally
explored.
Fishing Country practices and encourages catch-and-release, and teaching children how to fish.
"Off the Streets, and On the Creeks" is our motto. Fishing builds a child's self-esteem. Kids are
frequent guests on the show.

Michael Thompson.
